Overview #

The CloudQuery Snowflake plugin syncs your Snowflake database tables to any of the supported CloudQuery destinations (e.g. PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, and more).

Authentication #

In order to fetch information from Snowflake, cloudquery needs to be authenticated. Credentials can be inserted in the connection_string field.

Configuration #

This example configures a Snowflake source. The (top level) spec section is described in the Source Spec Reference.

Snowflake Spec #

This is the (nested) spec used by the Snowflake Source Plugin.

connection_string (string) (required)
Connection string to connect to the database. This should be a DSN, as per the official documentation
- "username[:password]@<account_identifier>/dbname/schemaname[?param1=value&...&paramN=valueN]"
- "username[:password]@<account_identifier>/dbname[?param1=value&...&paramN=valueN]"
- "username[:password]@hostname:port/dbname/schemaname?account=<account_identifier>[&param1=value&...&paramN=valueN]"
private_key (string) (optional)
PEM-encoded private key for connecting to snowflake. Equivalent to adding authenticator=snowflake_jwt&privateKey=... to the connection_string but parses, validates, and correctly encodes the key for use with snowflake.
concurrency (integer) (optional, default 100)
Best effort maximum number of Go routines to use. Raise this value to increase sync speed at the cost of memory usage. Sync speed is also directly impacted by warehouse tier.
scheduler (string) (optional, default dfs)
The scheduler to use when determining the priority of resources to sync. Supported values are dfs, round-robin, shuffle and shuffle-queue.
