Overview #

The CloudQuery Auth0 source plugin pulls management data out of Auth0 and loads it into any supported CloudQuery destination (e.g. PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, and more).

Authentication #

The Auth0 source plugin supports the Client Credentials flow.

Configuration #

This example syncs from Auth0 to a Postgres destination. The (top level) source spec section is described in the Source Spec Reference.

Secret Management #

The Auth0 source plugin can sync sensitive information such as Client Secrets, Tokens and Certificates.

To avoid syncing sensitive information, make sure to only select the appropriate permissions for the Auth0 Application used to authenticate with the Management API.

To avoid storing sensitive information in plaintext in the destination database unless necessary, it is highly recommended to use the Basic Transformer in the destination spec to auto-obfuscate sensitive columns.

Auth0 Spec #

This is the (nested) spec used by the Auth0 source plugin.

domain (string) (required)
The Auth0 domain, which is used to authenticate with the Auth0 Management API. Format: https://example.auth0.com
client_id (string) (required)
The Auth0 Client ID.
client_secret (string) (required)
The Auth0 Client Secret.
audience (string) (optional)
The Auth0 API Audience, which is used to authenticate with the Auth0 Management API. Typically in the format: https://YOUR_AUTH0_DOMAIN.auth0.com/api/v2/
concurrency (integer) (optional) (default: 1000)
A best effort maximum number of Go routines to use. Lower this number to reduce memory usage.
scheduler (string) (optional) (default: dfs)
The scheduler to use when determining the priority of resources to sync. Supported values are dfs (depth-first search), round-robin, shuffle and shuffle-queue.
